Sieraden verkopen - Trade for Treasure

Selling jewellery - Trade for Treasure
Trade in your old jewellery for a new treasure.
Jewellery you no longer wear, or pieces that have become damaged over the years, may lose their place in your collection, but never their meaning. At Vintage Jewellery, you can sell your gold and silver jewelry. We believe that gold is a timeless material passed down from generation to generation. That is why we are happy to give your old jewellery a new chapter.
With Trade for Treasure, we appraise your jewellery based on the current gold and silver market rates. Even broken, incomplete, or unused jewellery can still form a valuable foundation for something new.
Are you turning in your gold or silver to us? We will determine its value based on the precious metal content, weight, and the current market rate. The determined amount will then be paid out to you. If you choose to purchase a new treasure from our collection immediately, you will receive a 20% discount on your purchase.
Brands and sale items are excluded from this promotion.
This is how you make room for something new, while your gold or silver continues its story in a new form.

What kind of jewellery can I sell?
You can sell various gold or silver jewellery with us, such as: antique gold rings, earrings, bracelets, and broken necklaces.
At Vintage Jewellery, we purchase all types of jewelry, regardless of their condition. Do your pieces contain gemstones? No problem. We will examine the jewellery and gemstones for you and calculate the exact price. The condition of your jewellery does not matter; new, old, undamaged, or damaged.
How does selling jewellery work?

What is the value of my jewellery?
The value of your jewellery depends on several elements. Not only does the current gold/silver price play a role, but the purity of the material, the weight, and the condition of the piece are also important. At Vintage Jewellery, we ensure that every piece of jewellery is assessed accurately. Our approach is transparent: you receive a fair price, with no hidden costs. This ensures you a reliable selling experience.

Why sell my jewellery at Vintage Jewellery
Would you like to sell or have your gold jewellery appraised? Please make an appointment at one of our boutiques. During this appointment, we will carefully examine your jewellery. We will test the gold purity, determine the weight, and calculate a no-obligation price estimate based on the current gold price. There are no costs associated with this, and you are under no obligation.
When you agree to our final price offer, we will transfer the amount to you. If you choose a new piece of jewelry from our collection during the same appointment in our boutique, you will receive a 20% discount on your purchase as part of our Trade for Treasure program. A beautiful way to give a beloved material a new chapter. Brands and sale items are excluded from this offer.
Do you not live near one of our boutiques, or would you prefer to receive a price estimate before making an appointment? Please send us photos of your jewellery via WhatsApp or email, along with the gold purity and weight. Based on this information, we will provide a no-obligation indication of the potential value. If our proposal appeals to you, you can choose to send the jewellery to us or make an appointment at one of our boutiques for a final appraisal.
A remote price estimate is always preliminary. In the boutique, we will re-test the jewelry and weigh it on a calibrated scale. You will then receive a final price offer. The sale is only finalized once you agree to this.
Do you have any questions or would you like more information? Please feel free to contact us. We are happy to help you.

FAQ
For the valuation, we ask that you bring a valid form of identification. Do you have certificates, proof of purchase, invoices, or other documentation for your piece of jewellery? Please bring these along as well, as they can assist in the assessment. Do you no longer have any paperwork? No problem. Our experts can still value your jewellery based on the characteristics, materials, and condition of the piece.
Once you accept our offer, you will receive a sales agreement immediately. After signing, we will transfer the agreed amount to you as soon as possible. In most cases, the money will be in your account the same business day or within one business day at the latest.
The value of your jewellery is primarily determined based on the precious metal. Our experts look at the gold, platinum, or silver content, the weight, and the current market prices at the time of appraisal.
For jewellery with larger diamonds, these can also be included in the valuation. Other stones are generally not valued separately.
After the assessment, you will always receive a fair, transparent, and no-obligation offer. This way, you know exactly how the value of your jewellery was determined.
No, that is not necessary. Our experts assess your jewellery based on the material, quality, condition, and any special features. You are welcome to clean your jewellery if you wish, but this usually does not affect the value. We advise against using harsh cleaning agents to prevent damage.
Damaged jewellery can also have value. Scratches, dents, missing stones, or other signs of wear do not automatically mean your jewellery is worthless. During the appraisal, our experts evaluate the materials, weight, quality, and any unique features to provide a fair offer.
