This lifelike, solid and beautifully crafted dove charm has been made to be as realistic as possible. With modeled and engraved feathers and lifelike little feet on which it can stand upright, this dove is a miniature work of art.
Weighing 5.8 grams and made of 14-karat yellow gold, it won’t fly away easily, but it is a unique addition to any charm bracelet or pendant.

Doves have long been symbols of peace. Doves, a symbol of pride for city dwellers, may have a bad reputation, but they have been enormously useful to humans. Pigeons were used as carrier pigeons to deliver messages across vast distances and have transported mail since the time of the ancient Roman writer Pliny the Elder. During the First and Second World Wars, carrier pigeons were invaluable. They bravely crossed the front lines to carry messages when other technologies were not available. We admire the ability of pigeons to always find their way home, regardless of setbacks and distance.
