This brooch features elegant, flowing Edwardian lines, is made of richly colored rose gold and set with antique, old-mine-cut diamonds. Diamonds from this era are beautiful, hand-cut masterpieces. These old-mine cut shapes are voluminous with lovely high tables and extremely vivid fire and brilliance, with very nice VS clarity grades.
Brooches are in the midst of a renaissance and are once again popular adornments for clothing and even for the hair. Or pin them to a chain and use their versatility to wear them as a pendant. This brooch is set with a total of 0.69 karat old-mine-cut diamonds with excellent clarity and color. The Dutch oak leaf hallmark dates this jewel between 1906 and 1953.
