A gold vintage pendant with turquoise is an elegant Mid-Century design in which the pronounced blue of the cabochon-cut turquoise immediately catches the eye. The turquoise is held by fine prongs and surrounded by a decorative openwork border with small bead detailing, causing the gold to create a lively interplay with the soft sheen of the turquoise. This combination of vivid color, texture and refined goldwork evokes the expressive yet elegant formal language that was popular in the 1950s and 60s. Lovely worn alone on a delicate chain, so the turquoise and the vintage character can fully come into their own.
