This heart-shaped charm is a beautiful symbol of love and makes the perfect addition to any necklace in your collection. Made of 14 karat yellow gold and features a cabochon of synthetic opal, surrounded by braided wire accents.
Opal has long been prized as a phenomenal gemstone because of its play of color. This opal displays a huge rainbow of hues, with streaks and flashes of red, pink, blue, yellow and green. Photos do not do justice to the beauty of opal and this is no exception; this pendant is even more beautiful in person.
The heart itself dates from the Retro era, but came into our collection without the center stone. We have brought this jewel back to life by setting a vintage synthetic opal cabochon in the center space that we had in our loose stone collection. That way we can revive pieces that just need a little love and restoration so they find a new home (and don’t end up in the melting pot!).
