Rose-gold vintage entourage Victorian pendant with rose-cut diamond, 14 kt/925
Product information
This antique entourage floral pendant is set with rose-cut diamonds in lowered collet settings and is charming and graceful.
This pendant is a genuine antique piece from the Victorian era (1837–1901!), when rose-cut diamonds were very fashionable and an entire language was used to communicate with flowers, floriography. Perhaps this is a daisy, expressing true love to the recipient? Or do you perhaps see an aster, a flower sent as a message of patience?
Rose-cut diamonds from this period have a foil backing, which means they should not be exposed to water (otherwise the foil behind the diamonds will discolor and the diamonds will lose their bright sparkle). For that reason we recommend removing this pendant before showering or swimming, and not cleaning this piece in an ultrasonic bath. To polish it and restore its shine, you can simply use a silver polishing cloth.
