Sophia shone on the silver screen for many years, besides impressing through the silver screen she also did so in the field of fashion and jewellery. The history of Sophia Loren

Sofia Villani Scicolone, aka Sophia Loren, was born on September 20, 1934 in Rome. Sophia spent her early childhood in difficult circumstances, as her parents were unmarried and she grew up in poverty during a turbulent period of World War II. Despite these challenging circumstances, Sophia already showed great talent for acting. At a young age, she quickly became well-known when she emerged in the Italian film industry in the 1950s. She had extraordinary talent and beauty, this made her a very striking person and she quickly caught the attention of the right people. The breakthrough came when she had a role in the film "La Traviata" (1953). But she only gained international fame when she had a role in the film 'Two Women' (1960), with this she won her first Oscar for a non-English speaking role.

Sophia Loren was not only admired for her acting talents during her career, but her undeniable beauty and style was very popular with many people around the world.
